Problems in Pregnancy – Reflexology cured Hannah’s SPD (groin pain)

Symphysis pubis dysfunction (SPD) is a group of symptoms which cause pain and discomfort in the pelvic region. It is quite common in pregnancy and Chris was suffering quite badly from it. She could barely walk because of the pain. Her discomfort was significantly reduced after just one treatment but continued with treatment though out her pregnancy to avoid any future flare ups. Hannah was also keen to do everything she could to help reduce her labour time which I’m pleased to say it did! Here’s what Hannah had to say about her reflexology treatment:

“I was 20 weeks pregnant and suffering really bad with Symphysis Pubis Syndrome (SPD) or groin pain as people would describe it. I had it so bad that I ended up on crutches as I could not walk. After my first treatment with Julie I felt amazing relief and did not need my crutches the following day. I proceeded with weekly treatments throughout the pregnancy the treatments really relaxed me. I found them very beneficial and did not want my SPD to come back to the extent it was initially. I had also heard that it reduced labour time and labour pain which I was very interested in. I had my baby girl after a 2 and a half hour labour which I thought was fantastic to say the least.”
