Soothing Baby Colic – Gail and her son Oscar

“When my son, Oscar, was 2 weeks old he started being very unsettled on an evening. Hitching his knees and high pitched screaming which would last for hours. It soon became apparent he was suffering from Colic. He was also very constipated due to the formula milk and sometimes wouldn’t ‘go’ for days which was very uncomfortable when he eventually did. It made what should have been an amazing time incredibly exhausting and frustrating as the health visitor advised we’d have to wait months for Oscar to grow out of it! I had heard about baby reflexology and how the treatment helps babies so I asked Julie to help. We were desperate! And I’m so glad we did! I was shocked at how quickly Oscar responded. He was actually passing trapped wind as Julie was working on his feet! We also couldn’t believe it when he filled his nappy the same night. After a few weeks of treatments Oscar’s colic and constipation was more manageable and he was so much more relaxed.
